Scope of this notice

This notice covers personal data processed through dijider.org, the corporate contact and platform application forms and resulting business communications. Journal websites and editorial panels operated for customer institutions require notices specific to the relevant journal and institution; the institution may be the data controller and Dijider may act as a data processor under the service agreement.

2. Data categories and collection methods

We collect identity and contact data such as name, organization, email, optional phone number and country; information you include in your message; journal count and business-request details; and technical security records such as request time, IP address, requested path and browser information where recorded by server logs. Data is obtained directly from you through forms and correspondence, and automatically through essential technical logs and security mechanisms.

Our application, contact and administrator sign-in forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to detect automated abuse. Cloudflare processes technical signals such as IP address, browser information and page origin. Our server sends the verification token and connection IP address; form messages, contact details and passwords are not included in this verification request. The contact form does not collect separate consent for advertising or commercial electronic messages. If such communication is introduced, it will be subject to a separate notice and, where required, separate consent.

4. Recipients and transfers

Data may be accessed by authorized Dijider personnel and, only as necessary for the stated purposes, by contracted hosting, infrastructure, security and professional service providers. It may be disclosed to competent public authorities where required by law or a valid official request. A transfer abroad is not carried out merely because this notice exists; if the technical or service structure causes such a transfer, the safeguards and procedures in Article 9 of Law No. 6698 are applied and the notice is updated.

5. Retention

Data is retained for the period necessary to answer and manage the request, maintain business records, comply with applicable statutory retention duties and establish or protect legal rights. At the end of the applicable period it is deleted, destroyed or anonymized under the relevant procedure. Security logs are kept only for the operational and legal period appropriate to their purpose.

6. Your rights

Under Article 11 of Law No. 6698, you may request to:

  • learn whether your personal data is processed and obtain information about it
  • learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used accordingly
  • learn the recipients to whom data is transferred domestically or abroad
  • request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data and notification to recipients
  • request deletion or destruction when legal conditions are met and notification to recipients
  • object to a result against you arising solely from automated analysis
  • claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing

7. Security and changes

Appropriate administrative and technical controls are applied according to the nature of the processing. This notice is reviewed when processing purposes, recipients, infrastructure or legal requirements change. The current version and date are published on this page.
